The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an international non-profit organization that sets the global standard for sustainable fishing. An MSC certification is a trusted and recognized label awarded to fisheries that meet rigorous environmental standards for sustainable fishing.

How Does a Fishery Get MSC Certified?

To receive MSC certification, a fishery must undergo a thorough independent assessment conducted by accredited third-party auditors. This process includes:

What is IFS Certification? MSC Certified?

IFS stands for International Featured Standards — a set of globally recognized standards that ensure food, product, and service safety and quality throughout the supply chain. The most common in the seafood and food industry is IFS Food Certification, which is particularly relevant for companies that process and/or package food products.
